The Well Church is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all people, especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we take our duty of care seriously.
We are committed to:
- Creating a safe and welcoming environment for all
- Carefully selecting and training all those who work with children, young people, and vulnerable adults
- Responding promptly and appropriately to any safeguarding concern or allegation
- Following safer recruitment practices, including DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks for all those working with children and vulnerable adults
Safeguarding Lead
Our safeguarding lead is Rodney Alan Carkett. The safeguarding lead is responsible for overseeing all safeguarding matters and ensuring that our policies and procedures are followed.
